30 Bananas a Day!

I see potatoes, rice, and corn pasta all being pretty popular here. I am curious as to which, if any, other cooked carbohydrates are well-tolerated on this diet.

I currently enjoy steamed winter squash and sweet potatoes, cooked legumes, millet, buckwheat, and quinoa. The millet and buckwheat are especially well-tolerated (I have candida issues). Might any of these be fitting?

I am also hoping to eventually try blue and purple potatoes, black rice, wild rice, and oats. I don't eat corn (I am sensitive to mold) but would also like to indulge occasionally in pasta. What are the thoughts here on brown rice pasta, or this legume-based pasta here: http://www.tolerantfoods.com/#!product-list/c18gl ?

Potatoes, corn, rice, pasta, yams, oats, homemade sodium free oil/nut free bread and whole grains. Sometimes beans but not often

Probably the best things to eat for cooked starches are highly colored: sweet potato, winter squash, black or dark red beans, split peas, etc. I use all of them and also sometimes brown rice and potatoes (idaho, red, blue, yukon gold).

brown rice pasta is just brown rice.. there's no problem with that.. legume based is probably too high in protein..

i personally only eat brown rice (sometimes pasta) corn-rice pasta and whole wheat pizza crust, cause i can't eat a 1000 calorie meal out of potatoes.. the only way i like potatoes enough to make my stomach seem a black hole is french fries, but that's not allowed (oil free french fries is ********

Mostly brown rice and potatoes, but I also eat a lot of winter squashes when they're in season, as well as sweet potatoes, and some lentils, chickpeas, split peas or other legumes once in a while. Seldom I also eat oats or other grains/pseudograins like amaranth, millet or quinoa.

I never eat pasta and learned my lesson with white rice too... they spike your blood sugar and don't make you feel as good!

bulgur wheat and faro or spelt are my favorite alternatives.

Purple okinawan sweet potatoes, sprouted Quinoa, hominy, Kabocha squash, oats, buckwheat, Bob's Red Mill Gluten free Mighty tasty hot cereal are all faves of mine! Once in a while I add some beans but they cause gas except for sprouted mung beans. 

rice, rice and more rice (Jasmine, risotto, wild, white, etc)

sprouted mung beans

oats

canned lentil soup

frozen bags of corn and black beans

baked russet or sweet potatoes/french fries

golden potatoes for soups

wheat pasta

Dave’s Killer bread

Garnet yams are soo good and a treat!

I would like to experiment more with other starches, I really liked Spelt Bread.. Quinoa I had a friend make a great recipe with it.. but haven’t found a pre made version I like, I should experiment with recipes.
