Hi, I'm Kristina, currently every morning I eat a mini watermelon and two bananas, but its just not that filling. I really love my melons so im thinking of upgrading to a full sized one, but eating half for breakfast. I need to smash in the calories so any advice would be helpful!
Typically a banana smoothie (bananas are 100-150 kcal each) plus whichever berries, dried fruit you wish to add in. If you like watermelon so much, start with it, wait half hour or so to digest, and chew down that smoothie. :) Don't forget to drink a liter or two of water before your breakfast.
Thank you, that's helpful
why not just 3333g of watermelon (eatible weight).. that's 999.9 kcal that's one big size water melon or 1.5 watermelon or something, i don't see why someone couldn't eat that, when i eat watermelon i eat one whole watermelon which usually is around 2-2.5 kg of eatible portion, and i always have place for more, but organic watermelons are expensive.
After watermelon i always wait 2,75 hours.. also you have big average bananas there, most bananas i get here weigh 90-100g or so, that's 80-90 kcal
But if you're going to count calories you shouldn't base it on a number of fruits, but on the weight of the eatible part that you eat.
Mono meals of high calorie foods like dates, grapes, mangoes, bananas, etc. are great!
I eat 2 cantaloupes a day for breakfast. If you are still hungry keep eating.
I find that I like to have a meal of apples for breakfast. I start with around 4 medium sized apples or more if they're smaller and then eat oranges and mandarins till I'm full. The apples really wake me up and I feel great after eating. Also they're both pretty water-dense foods but still decent calorie-wise.
eating melons for breakfast pretty much guarantees someone going AWOL on raw food lifestyle haha.
You probably mean because its low calorie? Eating an extra large watermelon a day has been wonderful for me. And yes that's just for morning
Ten dates and a quart of coffee.
