Spinach is a great source of iron!
Green tender, leafy vegetables, like lettuce are the best source! :) Our absorption of iron goes way up on LFRV! Best thing to do is to get a blood test to see where you are at, if you are concerned.
@ about 5 minutes in, Kerrymac talks about her iron deficiency in this awesome video: http://www.30bananasaday.com/video/weight-loss-should-be-easy-brain...
One mamey sapote has 24% of daily iron needs according to Cronometer. I get them from a Mexican market. Mulberries, tamarind, watermelon, strawberries, raisins, dates, dried peaches, prunes, dried apricots have good amounts of iron as well as spinach, broccoli, dandelions, kale, collards, and chard
Half a large watermelon (15"long 7.5" wide) gives me 30% iron.
30 Figs is 31% iron.
10 Peaches is 21% iron.
