30 Bananas a Day!

What is the best staple for weightloss lately i have been using rice as my staple because i have school and its convenient what staple do you guys suggest for a student to use as a staple for weightloss??

To be honest, as long as you keep your daily nutritional ratio within the 90% Carbs, 5% Protein & 5% Fats borders, and keep an eye on your average caloric intake (around 2100-2300 kCal per day for no-to-seldom exercising & maybe 2200-2400 for moderate exercising on a regular basis), you should be fine in the long run.

Please don't misunderstand me, I do not promote caloric restriction, but am simply trying to tell you not to slip into the far-too-often encountered 'eat till you can't eat any more' mentality, which is absolutely inadequate for a health/fitness/nutrition forum. 

This is all just my opinion, so it is open to criticism, of course.

 Black Rice (it's really purple) for the antioxidants.

 I cook my rice with more water than is needed because of articles like this.

 If Asians are not suffering from high cancer rates then I am not too worried =)
