I was just reading about fat breakdown, that your body cannot properly break down fat stores unless it has glycogen for the process. During activity, this means you need a HUGE storage of glycogen to get past those first few minutes (where glycogen is usually depleted) and have plenty left over for fat breakdown over the rest of your activity.
Have I understood this right??
thats right. Thats why the people that eat the most carbs and the least fat are the slimmest nations.
no way you could eat 100 dates a day! they just aint stimulating enough.
try it. You wont get past day 2-3 unless your training up a big appetite and even then you wouldnt put on any excess enough to become fat.
It depends on the size of dates ;) I can easily eat 100 deglet noors a day, for example
Just awesome. Thank you for posting this.
People can't deny science....Period. wtg...

I've done a lot of traveling in south america. Seems like almost everyone is lean and strong except in the cities. If you do happen to see a fat person, they're usually wearing a suit because money = americanized living. Everyone else is living on potatoes, rice, beans, and corn.
There are a lot of unusually tubby-looking women though. I'm not sure what that's about.
I love that you always mention getting enough sleep. That is one of the things I struggle with the most but I am working on it! :)
The 10,000 dollars would be nice, but I can't find a fat long-term vegan! :D
DR let's be objective here - What person you really can call "fat"? What his BMI index? And how long he must be a High Carb Low Fat Vegan?
