30 Bananas a Day!

Hey guys, so the other day I've had a lot happen to me and got into multiple arguments with a few of the people I live with(Unrelated to HCLFV). Just a lot of negativity coming my way and it felt like if something could go wrong then it would and did that day. This all got me curious about what everyone does to deal with the things that may stress them out or bring them down. After being ganged up on after an already crappy day, I just left the house and walked around my town while venting off and basically yelling to myself(haha I don't have friends I can call to vent to) after getting all that out, I returned home with a smile on my face and enjoyed the rest of my night listening to upbeat music while reading and ignoring the people in my house. Sooooo, what does everyone else do to deal with negative emotions or built up stress? Does anyone else walk around while talking to themselves about their problems like I do? LOL

when i´m stressed i also think about it alot.... i really mean alot lot.

i dont have friends i can tell my problems ( :( ) and my mom always gets annoyed when i try to talk to her...

so i ussually go for a bike ride and listen to some music or play with my horse or my bunnies to distract myself but i try to deal with the things before i go to bed cus if i havent done so i just cant fall asleep.

I'm the same way!!! I unfortunately still have problems sleeping due to me thinking so much around that time >.< Sorry to hear that about your mom though, mine is kind of like that too, she shows little interest in a lot of the things I like to do. But I'm jealous of you having bunnies(I used to take care of a rabbit for several years before he passed) and a horse. Lol I have my dog Charlie though who is always happy and there to pick me up. Animals are awesome like that.

yeah, i feel like i just have to start solving my problems my self....

and YES animals really are the best friends in general they love you no matter what and always cheer you up :D!!!!

Hey Brandon :) My stress release is definitely music. Sometimes I think I would go mad without it. It keeps me happy, inspired and energized :) Sorry to hear you are in a stressful situation at the mo but things will get better! Good luck with everything! :)  

Yeah, same here. I'm listening to music for at least 70% of my day. I love to dance so music I can dance to makes for a very happy Brandon :D and thanks for being such an awesome person on here.

yeah, I do a lot of meditation. It makes me feel awesome

I used to meditate on and off but never made it a priority. Now though, I am definitely going to make it something I try to do every day to clear my mind and allow me to get over negative emotions a lot better. It feels so easy to tell myself let it go(singing the frozen theme song of course) but in practice it's much harder. X]

i usually just go straight to my room to distance myself from all that negativity or i go out for a walk, my mum i every argumentative so i isolate myself say from her quite alot because its better than confrontation i just dont want to put my energy into negativity because i know where that got me before!

Clearly not enough in my case.  I was glad to see this topic discussed here, so important.  A walk outdoors usually relaxes me quite a bit but I only talk if I see a woodpecker or other critter!  The truth is out.  Also watching something funny or sharing a joke with someone.
