30 Bananas a Day!

Was this an ok breakfast start & I have a few thoughts I wanted help thinking through!

This is what I had this morning: A smoothie with OJ, Coconut milk, frozen strawberries, goji berries and a banana.  I was still thinking about food so I had a large handful of dried blueberries and a 20 oz cup of water.  Was this an ok start?

Lastly, I do wonder this: The China Study seems to promote grains and veggies as an optimal eating style.  Any comments or help on this?  And how can I make sense of folks in third world countries who live off rice and beans and don’t have a weight problem & work relatively harder than we do without caffeine & medicines?

Hi House Mama.  I'm a newbie too, but here's my try.  More experienced folks will be able to advise you better.

 

What you had sounds like a great start to me, because you weren't eating animal products and you weren't eating crappy processed food.  If it gives you perspective, here's my food today, which I'm sure is less than perfect: Breakfast: 6 bananas  Lunch: Hummus and melba toast plus one large boiled potato (with salt and pepper).  Dinner will be a large blueberry/banana smoothie, and then if I'm hungry later I'll have some more hummus with celery.  And tomorrow's menu will look quite different than today's.

 

As for the China Study (which I haven't read), have you seen many of Duriarider's vids?  In a few of them, he says that fruit is best, next best are potatoes and rice.  He also asks how many obese people you see in countries where rice is a staple.  So I'd focus on a good variety of fruits, salad greens, and veggies, and then just enjoy the journey and get some education and entertainment from this site.

 

 

It would be better to eat more ripe bananas than just one. Try ten bananas :D You need more calories otherwise you will be sooo hungry in the evening that you might fall of the wagon. You need 3000 cals through the day. Try mono meals and aim a 1000 cals each. You need a lot of sleep- as much as your body needs and a lot of water- 3 liters or more/ day, it depends of what you do.

You might get sleepy in the beggining, because of the detox. Have you read all about it? I didn't when I started and so I fell of the wagon, because I didn't know I might get a cold. Which I did.

China study is a great study to show us that meat is unnecessary for us to live of. It's a start if you are coming from standard meat, milk diet. It's a start from which you move forward on to a even better solution for your health and life itself. Fruit - the cleanest, most nutritios food that needs no processing. It's what nature planned for us. it's the best way to eat healthy.

It is not just about the weight. It is all about you feeling the best in your body, healthy, with soft skin, good digestion, clear thinking, having loads of energy, a positive look on life... People are telling that they are curing deppression, anorexia, cancer, ... with 80 10 10.

cut out the coconut milk (or have a little bit as your fat for the day) and try a smoothie with 10+ bananas and some oj. and fresh fruit is much better than dried.
