Hi everyone! My name is Marisa and I'm beyond thrilled that I found the 811rv lifestyle and this site. Previously I had been struggling with trying to be consistent with a raw foods diet but didn't realize that I was eating way too many gourmet fatty raw food meals. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't feeling my best when this was supposed to be the optimal diet. Then I stumbled upon Swayze's Fit on Raw site, and at first I thought she was nuts for eating all that fruit...lol, but I was just so sick and tired of not feeling my best, that I decided to try it. And I am so glad that I did!! I'm now also into the seventh day of Swayze's 21 Days to Conquer Cooked Food Cravings and it's helping me to work on the emotional side of eating as well. That's what brought me here to 30 Bananas a Day and I'm really grateful to see so many wonderful people here to support one another. I've been eating 811rv now since the summer and have lost those last 10 lbs I wanted to, cleared up candida, acne, depression and anxiety! Also, I have way more energy, so I started running, and my husband and I plan to run a 5K in the spring and we have our sites set on the Philadelphia Marathon in November. :) I am currently teaching 6th grade language arts and social studies but my passion has always been with nutrition and health, and my goal is to eventually teach about this lifestyle full time so I'm in the process of starting a blog and a website too. Thanks Freelee for starting this site because it really has helped me when I hear the bread and crackers calling my name! I do have to agree that when I'm not eating enough calories from fruit, that's when the cravings start, so I've been trying to keep my fruit intake up. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
