lemon /ginger infused water is great, can add some fresh peppermit leaves to it too :)
i'd focus more on fruity monomeals, depending on what's in season.. mangoes, persimmons, melons, oranges
you can try a little of that banana/almond shake and see how you feel.. or just make banana shake only!
If you can rest, then water fasting for 1-3 days may be the quickest road to recovery. Otherwise I would pick one fruit that you know is ripe and easy to digest and stick with that. You have plenty of nutrients stored for your body to heal, therefore the key is to free up as much energy as possible so the body can do it's thing. Rest with eyes closed, rest the mind, the eyes, the ears, the body and digestion as much as you can.
Another trick it to heat up the body to a comfortable high temperature for half an hour, human cells are fine with this while virus and cancer get weak as a result, making is much easier for your body to kill them off.
