I have one, quite straightforward question. Do you support 80/10/10?

I'm asking because at your website I can only see recipes with use of powders, dehydrated vegetables, spices, nuts...
And this big banner advertising nut butters...

Your magazine's target audience are clearly not fruitarians so I got quite confused.

Hey Fruitman, I thought I would answer in the meantime, Dave can correct me if I'm wrong though!

Firstly 30BaD wouldn't be merging with Vibrance & Dave unless Dave & his work supported 811 also my understanding is that Dave has been a low fat raw vegan for over 20 years.

Dave's magazine has promoted Doug, Rozi and 811 more than any other magazine publication in the world. Doug, Rozi and Tim Trader (to name a few 811 supporters) have been regular contributors to Vibrance magazine for maybe over 10years (i'd have to get Dave's confirmation on that). Vibrance regularly has feature articles about successful 811ers and natural hygienists.

I think the main difference between Dave's teachings and Doug's may be that Dave recommends a tad more fat (around 15%) than Doug but I think that's about it right Dave?

It's good to know, because my impression after visiting the site was that it is for high fat raw gourmet eaters.

Take the front page Strawberry Romaine Boats with Tahini Sauce recipe and you get a 70% fat “meal”.

And there are more scary things inside ;)

I’m sure there is plenty of good info as well, but for someone new to 811 who just clicks on the tab it may be quite confusing to see the content and ads promoting high fat food. Especially that there is no explanation what the Vibrance is before you are redirected to the website.

But that’s just my opinion and you’re the boss here. Not mine of course ;D

Scary? Why are you scared? I never promote hi-fat and my advertisers don't imply that. In an ad by South Kona Macadamia Nut Co. horrible? Doug teaches making salad dressings with nuts or avo so I don't understand how 1 or 2 nut ads in Vibrance are reason to see the entire thing in a negative light. I'd love to converse with you and anyone but it does not feel right when people don't use their real name. In 14 years and 1000 articles I have never published any content that is less than hardcore health eating natural hygiene style which means low fat. Please read the articles and my Raw Revelation book before making final judgments : )

Thanks Freelee : ) Again folks, I have lived low-fat for 26.5 years, and always taught that, since long before Doug came up with the 80/10/10 phrase. Doug has taught fatty dressings, 2 oz fat max, at every raw food demo he has done with me, maybe all 15 of them. I get all my clients off all fat so that they can heal quickly. Dave, I am not trying to put in question your life or achievements.

I can't physically read everything what's on the website and calculate the median. There are 10's of raw websites out there and I just wanted to know if this one is yet another about high fat food.
I am not asking you to eat everything on my website : ) I don't eat those recipes. Not sure why you are fixated on them. If you read the magazine issues there are no articles on making recipes except 1 in each issue showcasing recipes to show people who may never buy the magazine otherwise. 99% of the people who come to my web site are into cooked vegetarian diets and I want to help them and have been. I have been one of the main leaders of the rawfood movement for 15 yrs.
