30 Bananas a Day!

Hi everyone,

I am doing an investigation in college about veganism, is for a class o metabolism. My teacher wants to convince me to eat meat, and I want to convince him to go vegan haha, but he asked me a lot of scientific information. Can you help me? Where can I find scientific data that supports this lifestyle?

Thank you so much!!

science will argue for and point both ways, you will not convince anyone who wants to argue.

As long as you don't use any caveman arguments or presume that either diet is perfect, you will find that there is plenty of scientific data and rational thinking that supports a modern vegan lifestyle. Here is a balanced study published in 2009 by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition:

Here is the Chapter 2 Summary of the "Scientific Report of the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee" of the US Department of Health.

Although it does not specifically say "Go Vegan", it's recommendations clearly emphasizes whole plant foods and can easily be met by a vegan diet.
