I recently have been red flagged with a borderline type 2 diabetes. I was eating mostly fruit during the day and some cooked food at night. I was trying to to mix fruit with fats, and fasting for 20 hours after my evening meal. Any comments or help on this matter will be greatly appreciated! I am beginning my quest to reverse this process and bring back my glucose levels to normal.
Congratulations! From my experience, most people just take a pill to "control it." Then they are diabetic and still taking pills and shots 13 years later!
I was borderline diabetic in 2001 and I went on a diet of exclusively fruits and veggies for two months and my glucose level went down to 85. My doctor said, "That is ideal"! So, what did I do after that? Well, I slowly got back into SAD and WDSL...now I'm borderline diabetic again! But I'm not thinking about taking medications. I'm starting today on a 100% LFRV diet program and an program of 30 minutes per day of moderate exercise, to my comfortable capacity. I feel like a fool. I should have stayed on this program when I was doing it in 2001.
How about working together on this problem? We seem to have similar problems; why not be friends? Maybe we can help each other!
Wow it sounds like we both have had similar experiences! I take the challenge to work on our borderline situation and reverse it for good. Let work together and coach each other. Thanks for your help! Enrique
