30 Bananas a Day!

Trying to cut weight for fear of hereditary diabetes

I've been watching the 30 bananas a day videos for awhile now and I think they are really insightful. Currently I'm on a lo ca rb diet. Idk what to do anymore considering that the current mantra on here is high carb. What wouldy oh do if you had to cut 20-40 lbs by cycling? What ratio diet/time in the saddle would you put in? I currently eat everything cooked with organic unsalted butter. A 3 egg on letter with veggies in the morning. Chicken and greens for lunch and dinner. I put around 20-30 miles in the saddles every other day. In a 24yo male and weigh 230 pounds. My ideal weight would be around 170z I have Dumbbells that I work out with when I'm not cycling any help would be appreciated thanks!

You need to eat only fruits and vegetables. Yes, that will mean alot of them. Your diabetes will be a result of too much fat, and, while eating animal products you're consuming SO much of it. Get your fat from avocados, seeds, nuts. Watch Freelees videos on youtube. Shoot for 2500-3000 cal a day, 80% of calories from carbs, 10% fat and 10% protein. Read The 80/10/10 book, it mentions diabetes.

Thanks for the responses guys! I really apprciate it! So, to me and albeit I'm a newbie, the thought of 3000 carbs seems a touch high. My doc says that my body sustains its weight at 2200 calories. Wouldn't 3000 make me gain?

Super informative thanks for laying down some facts. I guess I'm just little curious when it comes to consuming high glucose products like fruit, in large quantities. Christo, were you raised this way. I'm wondering if there is a transitory period. Ie when I have my first 10 banana smoothy will I feel like I just ate 10 candy bars and get all hyper then fall asleep? I know durian rider has a video where he eats a bunch of bananas and then shows off his blood sugar but do you think I'll have to ease off the fats first before I should dare to eat that much sugary stuff without I'll effect? Thanks.

You should defiantly go vegan. Go back to the soil, the environment. Before u do that get educated and know how sugars are ur friend and fat isn't gonna do u well! if u eat fat ill have fat stored in ur body!! We here as a community can help u! :D

I think i've read somewhere that it takes about 10 hours before fat is out of the bloodstream. After a few days/weeks you should be used to the high amounts of fruits and vegetables. 
But you will probably have some detox symptoms because your digestive system will be cleaning out all the crap you used to eat.
