I have been aware of this community for years now, but I seem to keep falling off the wagon... Last year I did about 10 months RT4, but fell off this summer pretty bad due to old habits (going to the pub with friends, etc.). Unfortunately, I was also not seeing as many positive results as expected, probably because I was overdoing the rice in the evening.
I now want to get back on track, but I guess I need support. Oddly enough, I am now convinced more than ever that this lifestyle is what works for me.
Any tips on socializing while fruity? On staying fully raw? Why RT4 didn't work for me? etc.?
Well before you go out make sure you eat your fill, so you don't have the urge to eat. Ask about vegan options. There usually is always a vegan option when you go somewhere. If you have to take a small snack with you. Dried fruit can be one of the best things to take. In the end on staying on track we can motivate you, but you are the one who needs to believe and control yourself. I'm sure you will do fine, you seem aware of what you want.
Ahah thank you so much, I think I just needed support. I guess I also always gravitate back towards this lifestyle because it feels so amazing ... but I just needed a little support.
I got into hot yoga classes lately, and am trying to push my friends into hobbies that don't involve unhealthy behaviours.. but at the end of the day I guess we only have control over our own lives only:)
Surround yourself around people that have your type of lifestyle. Not saying to abandon those who don't but the 5 people you hangout with the most are usually people you have the same type of lifestyle with.
