30 Bananas a Day!

Some years ago, i lost quite a bit of enamel on some of my teeth because of sucking lemons and too much accidic fruit. Now, is i eat acid fruit/ sub-acid fruits like apples, my teeth become sensitive very fast again. I'm just eatin meals, no snacking and after i at least rinse with water or eat some greens, that helps a lot but dont keep it completely away.

Anyone experienced rebuild of enamel? Its said its not possible but who knows...

i dunno i think it comes back i went on a grapefruit binge and ate 100+ a week of them as a result my teeth got really white which was great but also really sensitive. I backed off and in time they got less sensitive again tho they are still sensitive just not like they where.

Yes exactly, with the sensitivness i had the same experience. When i was in the tropics i ate almoast just sweet fruits and the most acid maybe was rambutan. 0 Problems. But in Germany i eat many apples, grapes etc and the problem begins again though i eat much more greens, all own picked from the garden.

I try and stay away from acidic fruit, unless they are really high quality, in which case they'd be sweeter and less acidic.  but it's very hard to find good quality grapes and even apples and oranges.  right now as the season dictates, i'm mostly relying on persimmons, fuyu and hachiya, as well as melons in addition to my year round staples of bananas and dates.

i would keep your acid fruit consumption low, too much and you will obviously wear down your enamel.

on a related note when i first went high carb vegan (largely raw) my teeth would feel sensitive when i ate dates whole.  2 years later i can bathe my teeth in dates all day long without any sensitivity whatsoever. so has my enamel been rebuilt? maybe.

The apples i have are high quality, i picked them from the garden and around the village but they are acidic though.

I think if the teeth are natural in a great shape without prior damage it should be no problem to consume acidic fruit.

Eat lettuce and use Vitamin K2 (Jarrow MK-7) and Vitamin D3 (Nature's Answer). No more problems.

Im eating greens after every meal and in the evening a salad with avocado too. Vitamin K2 i tried in the past and it helped me, maybe i'll take it again.

VitaminD3 i still should be charged because im in Germany just since 1.5 month after over 1 year in the tropics.

Every day my teeth feel better with K2, Amazing ☺, Don't use Solgar it has magnesium stearate around it. And then it doesn't work.

yeah, can't be a fruitarian in Germany.. ha! i had some issues with teeth being too sensitive, but after I stopped eating dates it got better. finding ripe fruit here is really challenging. Red topaz apples are really good, very ripe! citrus is compliacted.. now it's too early for ripe citrus fruit.. washington oranges are usually quite ripe, there are some varieties that are better. celery was very helpful!

Exactly Germany is a huge struggle to be fruitarian if you don't live by big cities.

Im heading South Spain soon...

I use sprouted buckwheat for the staple. Cheap, I always blend it with bananas or frozen mango.

Good fruit is also difficult where I live (North Netherlands), bananas are no problem. For other fruits I have to travel. Orange are only good in Januar and February. Before that they are not ripe.

Very interesting with the buckwheat i tried long time ago but my stomach hurted after eating it blended. How much do you blend with your bananas, just a handfull or how much?

If it would work, it would be a very good staple indeed. Bananas i eat just very few because after knowing the taste of Bananas from the tropics these taste so fake :D

For me dates are much better in taste than bananas.

Hello Matthias,

sprouted buckwheat (just little sprouts a few mm) 300 gram (dry buckwheat) => 1029 kcal with 4 bananas on low speed or 250 gr mango. I also put flaxseed in it.

The last few weeks I also use a few grams  chia seeds and my teeth likes them very much (the high calcium I think).

I eat the buckwheat twice a day.

Ofcourse blend with water ☺.

Greetings Alex
