30 Bananas a Day!

Hi everyone,

I posted this a few minutes ago, but don't think it shows up in feed for some reason. Just want to give everyone the option to view this so I might help you a little big reach your goals. Here is what I eat a typical day. It varies everyday what I eat, sometimes I eat a whole watermelon for breakfast.

For a typical day:

Breakfast:

1 quart water before meal

10 frozen bananas blended with 9-12 strawberries and water, with some turbinado sugar

Lunch:

1 quart water before meal

3/4 bag of red seedless grapes ( a lot of grapes!)

another banana smoothie for the heck of it haha, about 8 bananas. Sometimes I like kale in them.

Dinner:

1 quart water before meal

3-4 (depends how hungry I am) cups cooked white jasmine rice, curried with tomatoes and tomato sauce (no salt)

1 head romaine lettuce (used as wrappers for rice mixture)

water before I go to bed

Total: about 3000 calories

I hardly exercise really. Maybe 2-3 times per week. I go to my neighborhood gym and do moderate intensity running/walking for 30-45 minutes, then I do weight training on my arms, butt, legs, and abs to get definition/toning. I could certainly not exercise and still lose weight, just not as fast and I probably would have no toning and look like a deflated balloon by the end of it lol. Cardio helps increase metabolism and speeds up results. Just be sure not to exercise too much, that can slow metabolism. You would go into starvation mode...bad! Weight training helps also speed up metabolism which build muscles and burns fat in return.

I only started working out the past month! The first 3 months I just sat around all week and did my school, took care of husband, and cleaned house, that's it! But my results are faster this past month because I have incorporated some exercise. If you are asking yourself right now, "Hmm should I exercise (or go out and enjoy life), ehh I feel kinda lazy?" Then you are probably not eating enough to have energy. It's not about exercise or burning off calories, no NOT WHATSOEVER, but, it is about having energy to live the life you want to live. Living my life the way I wanted to meant training to run a full mile first, and that required A LOT more calories to have that motivation. I've always wanted to be a runner. By the way, I accomplished running 1.5 miles nonstop yesterday! Never thought I could EVER do that in my life. Only took 20 minutes or so, so I don't spend all my time in gym lol. Yesterday only did 30 minutes cardio. If you have something in your life you want to spend more time on or do/accomplish, you have to carb up for that. Everything takes mental power/physical power and requires carbohydrates.

I have so much flippin' energy, I have to exercise to get rid of it. Don't question if you want to exercise or not, just carb up A LOT and do it! You will automatically want to move when you eat enough.

Also, I know I shouldn't call it exercise, that's just what everyone calls it. I just call it moving your body/mind. Heck you could go on a brisk walk in nature, walk your dog, jog around a park, ride to the store; all that is exercise and does boost metabolism. Do what you love!

In the beginning I could not eat 3000 calories, maybe 2000-2500. 2500 is bare minimum you should follow because at 2000 I had no energy really, and consequently had NO drive to exercise or do much at all, then a couple weeks later I made my way up to 2500 and trained my metabolism to burn that much. After a few weeks on 2500 I made my way up to 3000 and am still constantly increasing calories as my metabolism is trained. This lifestyle really works and there are tons more people that have results. I am only at 4 months so of course there aren't going to be big results, but be patient and they will come!

Sorry I wrote an essay but I love to help others on this lifestyle!

Hope I helped!

-Hannah

this is so inspiring and you look awesome!!! such great motivation for me especially considering i have gained a heaping amount of weight so far, thanks for this great post!! keep doing you girl

Hey Alex! Thank you so much! Don't worry your metabolism will adjust just like mine did. It took a few months of gradually increasing my calories (i physically couldn't eat as much as I do now) until I'm where I'm at now. You can do it girl!

i hope so!! i come from 2.5 years of ed so i know i have some healing to do even though I've been on this for a year, but thanks again!! (:

Did you gain weight at first? You look amazing!

Aww thank you Paty! You're really nice! I gained maybe 5 pounds max, not much, just my shorts felt a tad tighter. That's normal though, especially since I restriced to 1200-1500 most of my adolescence. That fell off once I started eating no salt added/ no avocados/overts, way more fruit (I mean shove it down) and started to actually slim down from my starting weight by eating fruit and doing 2-3 times moderate intensity exercise per week (only started exercising this past month). I choose to exercise so I get toned and not just skinny fat.
