30 Bananas a Day!

I saw a talk from Tim on Sunday and he was an excellent speaker. The interesting thing to me is his diet, Harley and Tim have very different diets as far as caloric intake is concerned but both seem to be in the best shape of their lives. Tim says he currently consumes 2500 calories a day and runs around 100 miles a week. Tim also says that he gets his b12 from dirty farmland air and unwashed produce and that his blood tests show sufficient levels of b12.


Any opinions?

Growing it w/ high quality soil and rock dust (which has more readily available cobalt) definitely makes it more likely than from an organic farm that grows in de-mineralized highly sandy soil that supplements only NPK though!

Growing our own food is great but not an immediate reality for 99% of people lol!



Growing 100% of your own food is not always a reality, being vegan makes it much more of a real goal however. With that said, it is always possible to set up a room with some grow lights and grow a significant amount of greens, sprouts or wheatgrass. If all you have is a rented room you can still set up some cheap fluorescent grow lights and grow sprouts or wheatgrass. If you grow them using rockdust you the nutrition density of what little you are growing will be extremely high.
What is the source for stating they are all b12 deficient?
exercise is the most effective single form of treatment for depression.
I've found with depression that the mind and body are out of sync - when u exercise i've personally found the mind and body click together again and u feel grounded - your not disorientated and the mind stops 'wandering'.  i think the mind wandering is the body telling u it wants to move and/or eat - it's always been more effective for me than any counselling session.

Tim has too much muscle as a runner but his clean diet and positive mindset help him be an elite runner. Tim could go faster for sure if he ditch the muscle. Tim looks too much like a male sports model.  The saying is 'to beat the kenyans, you gotta look like one!' lol!


I agree if your goal is elite marathon running, but what if your goal is sprinting, or stair climbing?
