30 Bananas a Day!

Has anyone tried it? It supposedly has b12 in it and it is a great source of energy. I've been taking it a few days and my energy is through the roof! Is it safe?

Any "energetic rush" from a substance means your system is being stimulated unnaturally, and there will eventually be a crash.  

Much better to focus on healthy lifestyle habits, and let your sustained energy result.  

i have a jar of raw maca powder rotting away in my basement, haven't touched it for at least a year..

When i google i see a lot of claims that it has a lot of B12, but the jar only mentions it's rich in iron, calcium, B3, B6 and C.

Though i've read that in decent soil with a lot of life in it B12 in every plant is higher.

But in case of mushrooms and seaweed etc. it usually is concobalamin or whatever it's called and that only stands in the way of real b12.

everything with the label superfood or whatever, or powders with the label raw make me think of people like david wolfe.

i took it for about 4-5 days (only like 1/4 tsp) and the stuff made me crazy! it gave me a lot of energy, but after like 4 days i was having panic attacks and my anxiety was thru the roof. i recommend starting super slow if you do..

Very good question! Maca is really popularized. I started using it after reading about it in "Thrive" by Brendan Brazier, he is an amazing guy and my then-role-model (before I discovered DurianRider). I later learnt its also a 'sex drive enhancer'.. I was using it in my post-workout smoothie. It was driving my mind crazy. I bet its dehydrating to the body as well since its a powder.

Best to stay away, you don't need it.
