"check out this photo of a pig I cooked!"

Sometimes SAD eaters like to show us how much they love eating animals instead of just saying it. One day at work while people are asking questions about me being vegan one guy feels he needs to express his love of killing animals so much that he whips out his phone to show me a photo of a whole pig split open over a firepit he'd made. What part of our vegan conversation told you I'd want to see that?

Unprofessional.  I smell a lawsuit brewing.

SAD dr: "you need to limit your carbs to only breakfast and only eat animal protein the rest of the day"

SAD dr: "your a vegetarian right?" 

Me: "i am a vegan" 

SAD Dr: " ok.. this is going to make it even harder... : you need to increase your animal products" (What???)

SAD Dr: " we are going to have check your cholesterol level" after the test comes back " your cholesterol is perfect!!" you should bottle it and sell it!!" (don't really know what that is supposed to mean.. LOL)

that's kind of cute, made me laugh

I love the elderly.  They're chock full of these little sayings they're spent a lifetime accumulating.  Maybe next century I'll have some of my own :)

Today, at my new job, a rather large, pudgy man (after mentioning something about being able to eat a lot of meat) said as he grabbed his gut, "You don't get this kind of build by eating fruit!"

LOL Finally someone realizes FRUIT doesnt = FAT! :)

I think the biggest one is "Where do you get your protein." Did you know that fruit has as much protein as meat if you look at the math. Amount refers to the weight of the food. Do you know what the heaviest substance in food is? Is it iron?

Did you know that you can take almost any plant food and make it over 5 times as nutritious? That means that you can make it have 5 times as much vitamins and minerals. So how do you do that? You take out the heaviest substance in it. You dehydrate it and take out the water and it has 5 times the nutrition and lots more protein. Then you drink the water you took out of it.

So by dry weight (taking out all the water) fruit has as much protein as meat. Also if you eat too much carbs or fat, the body can store it. You know that! But if you consume too much protein, the body cannot store it. It needs to destroy the amino acids creating toxic substances that hurt the body. Have you heard of a complete protein (see article about this)? It is a myth and the U.S. government has done away with that term just like we discarded the idea of the earth being flat and the sun orbiting the earth. People know as little about protein as they know about vitamin D being a neurosteroid hormone.

Yeah after all the monkey and protein comments,at the end of the day as the fatty's crashed,i went on a small 16 mile ride and smashed all my previous times on the climbs.

Its because they've been manipulated by the greedy ratings seeking media and felt burned and cynical about anything health related they hear.

And most people think they make decisions based on reason and logic, but they like all other animals make decisions based on feelings, and the herd feels that dead bodies are A-OK so they feel that it's A-OK.

That plus they are ignorant to their own ability to blow smoke up their rear.

Just be glad you were freed from this illusion.
