I've been researching out of curiosity on bras because I have heard from sources from someone here that wearing bras are linked to breast cancer. Is that so when one wears them longer than necessary or is that so in general?
If it's the latter, what are the alternatives, especially for a large-breasted individual?
What are your opinions on bras in general?
I would love to hear experiences, opinions, and knowledge (especially from the ladies here).
Many thanks in advance.
Yes, no underwear for me either! No bra, no underwear, I experience my body as one uninterupted whole. I'm a nudist underneath my clothes. It feels so very right.
seriously grow your balls to grapefruit size and we'll talk about it.
Haha, now we only needa get a pair of pants on him and ask him how he feels about it :D
Oh gosh, I'm still a bit of a monkey-racist I don't know why but when I see monkey pictures it creeps me out, so thank you, for a double creepy picture.
Are you sure it's male though? I mean.. really sure?
I just don't like the shape of my boobs.. I even hide from my dad and brother when home without a bra on. :o I don't like my nips. I'm a B cup but they're still there and visable through shirts.
Lauren, maybe you should look at why you don't like their shape. Perhaps it's a media conditioned response. Celebrate your uniqueness! No two pairs are alike and there is no "ideal" shape. They're mammary glands!
+1, yeah ones has to re-learn to love one's body, not care of what others think so much, and break free of the media set ideals.
Bs are for beautiful boobies.
Definitely go bra-free! Even without all the research linking wearing a bra with increased cancer risk, not wearing one makes such a difference to energy levels and breathing. I stopped wearing a bra a couple of years back, and then wore one for a few hours recently when I was meeting some family members who aren't so into my lifestyle choices... I found it really hard to breath all day, and had chest pains for quite a few days after. I never normally have chest pains at all! So next time they'll just have to put up with me, see-through tops and all ;) For sport you can always wear a tight fitting cami top, though I don't bother and get on fine running, cycling, hiking etc.
Take care, Esperanza xxx
No bras here. But then, I have no boobs :P
I wear a bra maybe 1-2 a week, other days I either go without or use a triangle bikini top. I only wear a bra when I wear a t-shirt/top that will show my nipples, as I don't feel comfortable walking around men with my nipples showing. Recently I cut out all the wires from all my bras and only kept the comfy, cotton bras with padding.
I am blessed with a b-cup and they don't hang at all! I think these things also have to do with genetics. My mother and grandmother both don't have saggy breasts at all, neither do any of my sisters.
