30 Bananas a Day!

I'm kinda worried about my teeth. Eating fruit has been great. No preparation. Sweet. Filling. I got the tip from Freelee about drinking water after eating fruit to cleanse the mouth. I'm eating more and more fresh fruit as opposed to dried fruit. I am fearful about getting cavities. Is this a real potential problem?

How long have you been raw and how many cavities have you had since? What percentage of fruit are you eating?

I am still tremendously enjoying the dates that you kindly sent to us. I eat about 10 dates a day. I could eat more, but then I would not eat the other stuff, like banana/clementine smoothie, or a gigantic salad with mac/dill/cuke dressing.
With a history of bulimia and weak enamel because of such behaviors I am already prone to cavities. Since eating 811 again, I am having some problems with my teeth. It started a few days after having about 1/2 lb of dates a day. I ate other things of course, but I REALLY felt cavities when I ate dates. I need to go to the dentist. I really hope my story turns out to be a success story like many others...id love to be one of those people that healed their cavities on their own, built up their enamel with a high magnesium and calcium diet...we shall see. I'm glad to see this question here. I'm concerned too!!

greens also have great minerals which bathe your teeth while chewing!

And souriya is right, the jaw exercise is fantastic! I was told 5 years ago I'd have to have my wisdom teeth removed because there was "no room" I believed them because I began to have crowding and pain a few years later. Shortly after I found raw and began chewing lettuce, kale, spinach, fruit, veggies, etc for HOURS a day during my meals...sure enough, the pain stopped and my wisdom teeth somehow "found room" with no resulting crowding and only one instance of infection (which healed itself miraculously in 1 day)...I know all that chewing made the difference :)
Thanks Souriya and Lily. I love the organic baby spinach. It leaves my mouth feelings very astringent. I will chew at least one mouthful of leafy greans after eating fruit. This will increase the mineral percentage of the fruit that has just been eaten, thereby countering the high sugar content. One cannot brush 5 times per day.
