I know this may sound dumb, however were there any supplements that you might of regret taking? I definately would like to hear your experience and reasoning behind taking any of the supplements.
For me, purchasing puke-o'-rella (chlorella) and vomit-rulina (spirulina) was a blunder merely for the reason that they both taste like barn yard.
my mom takes those &boy they smell as bad as they taste. i tried both 2 years ago.
for me, the cash i forked over to a nature path who put me on a million different vials etc to "cure" me. 811 is ALOT cheaper.
I've never been a big supplements fan and I always go for natural stuff like for example I add some maca, lucuma and mesquite powders to my morning shakes since i don't like greens that much (I find kale and wheatgrass so overpowering) and those powders are great sources of magnesium, potassium, iron, calcium, b1, b2 and C.
Back in my high fat raw days I actually used to love eating Spirulina and Chlorella (as long as they were in the chewable tablet forms) I used to buy a $40 bag with 1,000 chewable tablets in them and they tasted so good that I could have easily eaten a whole bag in one sitting.
The problem was that eating them would turn my tongue and teeth dark green and it would literally take me about 30 minutes just to brush my teeth afterwards, plus they were very expensive, and I didn't feel that they were making any kind of noticeable difference in my well being... So yeah, I'm glad I'm not still buying them. (And I bought them back then because they were high in protein. lol)
