for healthy fats, the site recommends 80 10 10%, i do not get anywhere near 10% with just fruit.
Cannot use amazon in australia
You don't need 10% just under 10%. I average 6% Seeds and nuts are high in anti-nutrients like phytic acid. If you want some healthy fat try some avocado once in a while. Some fruit with seeds like raspberries and pomegranates have higher fat content....
liferegenerator has videos about where to get raw nuts, and i'm sure if you go to his website he has affiliations with real raw nut sellers. love that guy so much even if he does sell stuff
sorry but i had to stop watching his video because he talks so much nonsense...was watching the one about him responding to Harleys attack on him for selling whey protein. Half the video he talked about how he is not even gunna look at the video or fight with harley because of his quest for inner peace..
yeah I wouldn't count on him for anything other than successfully clowning on the rah brahs, thats my favorite thing he has done
i also find a lot of his videos somewhat loony but if you're looking for raw nuts, the man has got you covered for sure
Actually, 30BAD doesn't categorize nuts and seeds as optimal foods. I eat them rarely. ...They don't taste like much until combined with other foods anyway...
are you sure ben? I am pretty sure most of 30 bad eat a handful a day? there were only a few people i have noticed saying that they stay away from them
the plant that is peanuts is nothing like other nuts. peanuts grow under ground, unlike for example almonds and walnuts which hang from trees like fruit. eating raw peanuts is like eating raw potatoes, of course no one would ever want to do that. on the other hand, eating raw almonds, walnuts, pecans, macadamias is amazing.
"if you think back in nature..." is an argument that only goes so far. if you think back in nature... bananas lack sweetness and are full of seeds... many fruits as we know them simply don't exist or at least not in abundance, for instance papayas. and besides, if i do truly think back in nature, i would LOVE to find an almond tree and hang out cracking nuts open!
disclaimer: not trying to dispute at all that eating overt-free has amazing benefits! i simply must assert that raw nuts aren't gross, they're delicious, they're plants, they have their own spectrum of benefits as well. the exploration/study of optimal overt fat sources is a healthy one.
pk, shine your light on this one!
