I wanted to start a discussion about those who have already taken the B12 shots......
I am on Day 3 today, and although I don't notice any difference (except the high I get after I actually realize I managed to inject myself!!) I wanted to ask opinions on IM vs. SubQ injections.
(IM=intramuscular and SubQ-subcutaneous)
THe instructions and previous info from DR go the route of IM, which was my intention.(I went for my thigh as the injection point.)
The first two days, I pinched a small amount of skin and injected, hardly felt it and no blood....
Today, I didn't pinch the skin and went straight for the muscle....still hardly felt it when the needle was in, but it bled quite a bit when I pulled the needle out, and there is already a bruise forming....I can definitely feel that I hit the muscle today....have an achy feeling in the quad, not pain just achy....
So I'm assuming I got the muscle today, and the previous two times,it must have been SubQ?
So....which one is better? I can deal with the muscle aches for the first week if it is more effective, I just wondered what your experiences had been??
Thanks fruity ones :)
The vegan option is a sublingual...it avoids injections and isnt funded by animal testing and big pharma. Just like IM and subQ injections, it goes straight into the bloodstream, cutting out the need for intrinsic factor and digestion. It is just absorbed under the tongue instead.
I've read somewhere (don't remember where:(..) that the cobalamin molecules are too big to be absorbed in the capillaries under the tongue, what do you think about that?
They are all synthetic lab produced from my homework. People often say synthetics don't work. They obviously don't know much about sports drugs yet. ;)
