Hello fruity friends!! :)
I found out my B12 was dangerously low, so got injected.
I do feel better and I only got it done yesterday.
The doc prescribed me a tablet that has cyanocobalamin which I know isn't good.
I looked around at the health food store and sublingual ones all had lactose! to name but one gross ingredient.
Anyone have experience buying them online? I live in Canada. Also which brand?
My cash is too tight to afford the shots...
Any help greatly appreciated :)
I guess I feel a little overwhelmed by all the brands to buy! They all seem to have several ingredients that i'm not sure about like xylitol. You havn't had negative effects? I guess detoxing processed sugar may be easier then going on low b12...
I haven't taken supplements in years so feeling nervous I guess!!
Yeh i felt exactly the same....i spent ages researching brands coz they all had so much crap in them...but they all seemed as bad as each other... so i ended up getting what seemed to be the most popular and with the best reviews. I thought...just get one quickly so i can get started, then i can research other brands for when i run out.
believe me i HATE supplements..dont think u need them if u eat a natural healthy diet... however unfortunately in this unatural world there is tons of pollution and quality produce is hard to get. the fact is i got dangerously low b12 so i need to supplement it now.
i would say order some and try them, if u feel as good as me there is no way u would stop taking them. for example, today i was cycling for about an hour and realised how easy it was how i felt like i had sooo much oxygen, i felt like an athlete lol...compared to feeling like a 90yr old after 5 mins a couple of weeks ago.
i haven't had any negative affects, just my life back :)
ok haha..... Gotta let go of the idea of purity, totally agree. Our soil is depleted and I would rather supplement then have to continue like this despite being raw and carbed!
I haven't run or biked in a month! So thank you, I will try the Jarrow, they are decently priced too :)
So good to hear your feeling so awesome! Something to look forward to.
Earlier I posted the link for the 1000mcg B12 tablets, but you might want to order the 5000mcg ones instead if you feel you are deficient.
Check out vitacost.com. They have good prices and also sell Jarrow Formulas.
thankswill check it out!
I get the Jarrows lozenges from iherb :)
thanks Gianni, will check to see if I can find the same brand at 5000.
