In Freelee's recent Thailand videos, she buys pasteurized juice from the store very frequently. Does anyone know of trust worthy, clean brands in the US grocers? It would be nice to have juice on the go or to have at home pre dinner, without going through the hassle of juicing!
#1) One applies to all canned and bottled fruit and fruit juices: the processing and storing of the fruit releases methyl alcohol that is essentially as harmful as drinking aspartame or loading the body with formaldehyde, see this interview: Dr. Mercola Interviews Dr. Woody Monte Real emergencies where you have no dates available, no fruit whatsoever, no frozen fruit, no fresh smoothies or fresh juices and you have a real problem with any cooked anything like sweet potatoes then I could see drinking fruit juice.
#2) Odwalla, Naked, Santa Cruz and Boathouse, all contributed money to stop the labeling of GMOs in the recent California food labeling initiative. That means they want to be able to or already are using GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) in their products. Stay far away imo.
I would look for fresh squeezed juice found at many mainstream grocery's these days. other than that look up the company and see who owns them and what side of the GMO issue they are on.
What were you going to say? :-)
i sell rape seed oil juices fresh thoe :)
I usually have organic grapejuice on hand for when my levels of fresh fruit are low. I just buy the store brand organic.
those juices are imo not healthy. Only fresh made (organic)
juice -pasturized juice is worthless.
i drink pasteurized high pulp OJ all the time- better than being undercarbed.
i dont cook my fruits :)
