I am puzzled.
Firstly, my stool went from being well formed solid battleship bombs to what many here describe as fish food.
I was relieved when I saw a few others on here mention that their stool was also very watery.
Over time I noticed my stools change from watery fish food to chocolate soft serve icecream (lol sorry for the graphics)
Now whats bothering me is that I am back to playing "sink the battleships." They are back to being well formed and gigantic again.
When having a bowel movement it comes out fast and without much effort, that I know is a good thing.
So whats the deal? am I just dehydrated? what happened to my fish food?
My percentage of fat is usually between 3-4 % sometimes about 5%
I don't eat dates right now and I wouldn't touch a cruciferous vegetable with a 10 foot pole. They caused me serious issues and I now hate them.
Thank you for all your valuable information PK. I don't know what is going on with me. I drink a lot of water. One liter when I first get up before I start eating. I wait at least an hour after eating to drink more and I drink 6-7 liters a day and I still don't pee clear every time. A lot of times it is clear though. I guess my issue may be fats but I for some reason don't really want to eat them. But perhaps I will give in and try them. I don't know when to work them in though. I don't know what seeds or nuts are best to eat. Do you soak them?
BTW, here was another humorous 30BaD discussion on Confessing your Stools:
how do you guys only go once a day????
i go twice before breakfast, after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner, before bed!
I am not sure myself. I am not saying I never go twice a day, but that is rare.
I think there is no such thing as a normal frequency here @30BaD. Many of our healthy members exhibit different patterns as this discussion reflects. Melissa and I go once a day, and when I go I go.
Others go more frequently, but I am assuming make smaller bms too.
I wanted to add an additional though here for those still struggling with their bowel movements. Diets high in dates can cause problems for some people causing anything from dry bally poops similar to that goats make, to diarrhea in some people.
Cruciferous veggies like broccoli and brassica veggies like kale, chard, and spinach may have similar affects in part because they are high in indigestible cellulose and insoluble fiber.
I think it depends on what you eat. I know when I chow down on oranges it can make for very loose goings, but normal is when I eat tons of bananas along side lettuce at least 4 times per week.
Also, I've notice such changes when the weather is hotter than normal and/or activity levels increase - it is one sign of dehydration. Make sure you're still drinking enough...your weight divided by 2 in ounces is for sedentary people...do anything other than just being on your computer all day, then add a quart.
I am absolutely disgusted by this discussion, but I am ALWAYS glad to see a post by you!
