30 Bananas a Day!

Still transitioning, already seeing results/detox symptoms!

I am still transitioning in to a fully HCRV diet.  I was previously just eating a raw breakfast for a couple weeks.  Now I'm incorporating a raw lunch.  Just tonight i had my first cooked low fat/high carb vegan dinner. 

Results so far:

Increased energy levels - my exercise session are 4 times as long as they use to be, and i no longer take pre workout. 

Decreased water retention - lost about 7 lbs this week after gaining 5lbs in the first couple weeks of transitioning

Decrease in mucus/allergy symptoms 

Brighter more hydrated skin - I didn't have to moisturize very much this week, i have dry skin usually.

Detox symptoms:

Acne - I'm breaking out like crazy
Increase in the amount i sleep - i use to sleep 6-7 hrs, now I'm sleeping 10-12 hrs a night. 

WARNING PERSONAL GIRLY STUFF:

I also just recently had an unusually short/light period. It lasted about 3 days and was at no time "heavy" by any means.  I've never had really bad cramps/bleeding, but this is drastically less than usual.  Is this okay? Am i losing weight too fast or is this natural/healthy?

I've lost my period before from my bf% getting too low. So i am a little concerned.  But I'm also about 20 lbs heavier now, than i was when i lost it in the past.

The first 3 weeks i was only having 1 low fat raw meal a day. Then in the last week i increased it to two low fat raw meals a day.  It was within the last week that i lost the weight.  I am assuming it was water weight and my body was finally flushing out all that yucky sodium. 

I wouldn't worry about your weight too much.  Body recomposition doesn't show on the scale. C:

Interesting, good to know! I was expecting fluctuations and even some detox symptoms.  My diet was horrible before this.  I was making an honest attempt to gain weight though…not really an excuse though! xP

Awesome!  Yeah the results come quickly, so get ready for even more :P  The acne will go away as long as you hydrate yourself properly and in the meantime, use BB cream or something xD

As for your observations on menstruation, I experienced the same thing.  I'm following mostly HCCV but I've noticed my cycle to be about 3-4 days (as opposed to 5-6 days) and not as heavy as before.  I think that's normal; other women have reported similar results of going high carb. 

I hope your right about my skin.  I actually very rarely wear make up, so i doubt that's the issues. But you never know. I usually use a tinted moisturizer.   I have/will be drinking all the water. Cx

Ahh good to know that its normal.  I am honestly pleased with how short it is.  Cramps only lasted 1 days also.
