So I stopped taking the Pill one year ago and have not had a period. I'm not too worried thanks to the ladies here who took as long (or longer) to regain their period. Also I'm not desperately trying to have a baby (yet?).
Anyhoo, my GP is very concerned about this and has organised an appointment with a gynocologist. The appointment is in May, prior to this I will be having a blood test and Pap smear (which I want).
BUT.... is there any special reason I should see a gyno? I mean, if she prescribed hormones or something like that, I wouldn't take them. Are there things that a gyno could check for that a regular GP wouldn't? Anyone have any experience with stuff like this? Google isn't really giving me the answers I'm looking for.
all the long term fruitarian womyn I have talked to dont really have much at all if any and that is supposed to be the standard. Bleeding I have heard is a way to cleanse a dirty body for children. but if you are already clean...
also this happens to olympic athletes they dont bleed but are still fertile they take breaks and pop out babes, i think thats why doug is a father, roz thought she was done
So it's been a few years... how about an update! I have some friends that are interested in this topic.
MetalCowgirl posted this a couple days ago, I think you should check it:
