30 Bananas a Day!

The Holidays got to me; is there anything else to say?

Well... Yeah. Le sigh.

While I ate some ham/Turkey, I had very little of it. Had a lot of butter (mashed potatoes and stuffing). Very high fat, SAD diet.
And so I am sad.

Very binge filled couple of months, you know. I binge hard. Very hard. I was eating a weeks worth of crap (even by SAD standards) in a day.


So now I have to start over. But it's okay.

Right now I won't be concerned about calories... I'll just try to work my way into being raw again.

I'm starting out with green smoothies; it's the easiest way to do it, I think. And a plate of things to chew.

I want to include about 1 cup of quinoa/oatmeal mix because I love it so much. I used to eat entire cans of oatmeal dry. The stuff I eat is organic.

I would try Raw til 4, but I'm binge prone, prone to lose sight of veganism and go straight to SAD junk food thinking "I can just start tomorrow!"

Here's to hoping I do well!

I want to do small, 10 minute workouts throughout the day, maybe five or six, and then one Zumba DVD. I want to take my dog on a walk every day. Our usual route is about 1 mile, but I'd like to up that to at least 2 on weekdays and 4-5 miles on the weekend.

I want to become active. I noticed that my friend's dog, a 12 year old boxer, is always running around and playing. She doesn't have anything wrong with her, never gets sick. But her other 12 year old boxer, from the same litter, was always sick and had something wrong with her all the time. This dog was sedentary and recently had to be put down.
I can't help but think it's related, the activity level of the dogs and their health.

Your biggest obstacle to get through/past/over is coming to the conclusion as to WHY you ate the once living animal. Once you have figured this out, then you other issues will start unraveling and thus be easier to sort through. 

I understand your difficult position (I was there two years ago..). However, probably, the reason as to why you feel like you binge too much, especially during the holidays is because you're under carbed. Maybe you feel like your eating enough fruit during the day, but in reality (with your body's cravings for other foods) you may not be eating enough for yourself. I recommend though, if you haven't already heard this speech, to click on the link I will post below of this paragraph. It helped me get on track and have a stable walk down this amazing lifestyle (make sure to watch it completely!). Also, if you feel like you can't be Raw 'til 4, there is no shame in maintaining a high carb low fat vegan lifestyle...Hope it helped! Best of luck!

The problem with not being "concerned about calories" is that it makes you EVEN MORE likely to binge. If you were to cram in the carbs and reach a good safe calorie minimum that way, you will be less likely to want to binge on anything else. I know it's hard, believe me, but concerning yourself with calories at the start is one of the best ways to ensure you're success.
