Victor, it's so true--> "strength vs mass. The two are not synonymous."
When I travel to third world countries. People are tiny. And they are WAY STRONGER & way tougher than me. They carry massive loads on their backs for miles. Some walk barefoot on jagged rocks all day. I've seen sherpas carry large (overweight & tall) men on their backs(!) & climb a part of the Himalayas. - It's all very impressive.
Today: I checked out that Zumba class this morning. It was OK. I think I will give it another go next week. I wouldn't say it's a fav yet, but it has potential.
Much love to you all today! Xx.. ;D)
Strong stuff, Peeps!
Vic, regardless of what you're noshing, the indisputable fact these gymrats probably choke on is that a smaller guy is still outlifting them! It won't be long before they're coming to you for tips, I'll wager :)
Yeah, Lady, way to work them guns! :)
Luv, is that an actual class led by that moon-boot guy.? Are you supposed to follow along with him with zero instructions, or are they just having fun?
Did you get any boots or just the standard Zumba?
Amazing pic, BTW. If I'm not mistaken, those are baskets of enormous rocks. That guy looks like he's all sinew and muscle O.O
Ha, Fig, your eagerly expected Raptors made me think of:
Soreness is diminished, and I'm getting that feeling of power back.
Day 40, almost 2/3rds done, Max Interval Circuit, 55 min.
Was able to flow with it a bit better than 5 days ago, outside in a lovely day under a tree
Yest, I was speaking with a friendly acquaintance who tends the park, and she commented:
"you have no idea how many people are watching you (meaning me) work out. They come up and ask me: 'What's he doing today?' I tell them, 'I don't know! Go ask him!'"
I've already had a couple conversations in response to the query "What are you training for?' More may be on the way!"
what it is (and believe you me, Madison Avenue hyperbole aside, this is the real deal!):
WL: Yes, he teaches with no instuctors. My Zumba dance teachers teach like that too. I guess they hope we can follow quickly, if not, oh well. Last week at Zumba 5-8 people walked out. :( ...I think it was too fast for them & it didn't seem like the teacher cared, or cared to slow down for them.
The class I took with him didn't have those shoes. :D) Thank goodness!
Woh, those are some big packs on those guys. What a load.
What year was this?
And the cool thing about swimming, you can do it anywhere!
