I've been eating raw till four for over one week now. I eat at least 1500cal from fruit, and then the rest from cooked foods at night. I always reach 2300+ kcal. Since i am a student there is no way i can afford to buy everything organic.
Anyway, i've been feeling really great until yesterday. I had some bananas for breakfast and like 2 minutes after eating them i get terrible pains in my stomach and it goes out to my back, it honestly hurts sooo much, like menstrual crampsx10 (you ladies know what i mean). I also got very nauseous and had to go lie down because my head was spinning. After 5 minutes the symtoms were gone. I then had my cooked food at night and everything was fine.
Just now i had my breakfast, I ate a few grapes and an apple and BAM the same pain was back again (before i could finish my breakfast)! I'm really devastated if this means i can't continue eating this way :( Could it be the fact that they are nonorganic? Has anyone else felt this? I'm quite worried..
have you drank enough water? Maeby it has something to do with "old" food digesting. Maybe try different fruit and even smaller portions...
Maybe it is old food like you say? Because now i ate more after going to the bathroom and it seems to be fine, even though i haven't had the guts to try the grapes again! It's so strange though, has anyone else felt this? It would suck to get those terrible pains every morning O_o
I do drink enough water :)
I have experienced some pain sometimes before going to bathroom and I think that is atleast old food leaving my body... (but it can also be some food that doesn't digest well) I think it might depend much on what you have eaten in the past month.
oh and have you tried to drink your bananas in smoothie? that helps them digesting so it could ease your pain.
First thing to check is your hydration, do you pee 10+ times daily? This can make a big difference in your digestion.
Maybe something "detached" in your stomach, some old stuff ?
I remember I had two similar experiences in the first few months of being HCV (fully raw back then), each time with a couple days of intense pain. Never happened again.
