I had dragon fruit around 5pm yesterday and saw it in my stool around 6am this morning....
Do I have a disease? is something wrong with me? the stool looks well-formed its not diarrhea or anything? what is going on?
When I was SAD I would force myself to have a bowel movement everyday but now I go at least twice
There is noway in the world I could be absorbing nutrients that fast..
Is it possible that I cannot stay on this diet because my body has adjusted to SAD?
I don't see why you think that that's so strange. But was the dragon fruit, like, in a piece? or did you just see the seeds/color? The latter happens all the time; it's normal. Of course you can stay on this diet! A lot of people who have eaten sad for twenty, thirty, even forty years have adjusted to this diet relatively quickly. Being SAD long-term only means that you will "detox" in some way, and have to get over any cravings that you might have. It doesn't mean that your body can't digest fruit... In fact, fruit is the most digestible food for humans (the more water-dense, the more digestible)!
May I suggest experiment with chewing your food extremely slowly for an extended period of time before making up your mind?
I have seen it quoted many times from many sources that a healthy digestive transit time is 8-14 hours. So you would be right in that range.
How is it normal???
I ate very very little fruit and vegetables all my my life, I highly doubt the body can absorb it efficiently after all the abuse I have given my body.
I read everywhere that for proper digestion, food usually takes like 24-38 hours to travel from mouth to end. Seeing seeds in the morning from last night cannot be normal Melissa, noway!:P
This is one of they lies you and I have both been told by the animal industries, when going just cook vegan I noticed the same things, but it's nothing to worry about and one point while I was on SAD I averaged one bm every 3-4 days and I'm currently at one a day most of the time fully raw. But there are more fantastic changes ahead for you in time, from high energy to a brighter skin glow.

yes Bart, I am inclined to think this way because my energy levels are not where they should be, that is why I think the fruit is passing too quickly to be absorbed
Well, that is a problem. I believe that it might be more helpful to you to reach out to the 30bad community about insufficient energy levels than about a short transit time. A short transit time is just one of a billion possible explanations as to why you have insufficient energy levels, and it's not anything out of the ordinary around here. Reach out and inquire about the real problem, not about a possible correlation. Folks here are eager to help!
Thankyou Bart for your help dude appreciate it. I think it was a false alarm because right now as I type I am bursting with energy, I feel like jumping up and down in my chair, its kind of scary... I feel like a bomb about to explode and I have like this fuzzyness feeling all inside me. I just finished 1 hour of intensive exercise...I thought I should be drained...
I think i was still transitioning and the fruity effect didnt kick in yet. Sorry guys to alarm you all.
So in conclusion, lesson learnt? Short transit times are indeed normal and it will take a while before your body returns to normal function after long time SAD
The energy levels are also related to the amount of nutrients in the foods you consume in comparison to how much energy is needed to digest the food. so if the fruits were not ripe, they would not only be lacking nutrients but also take some from your body to deal with the un-ripeness of the fruits. Have you studied how the fruits should be as ripe?
