30 Bananas a Day!

Hello, I have been eating Raw/Raw till 4 for 1 year now & I am loving the lifestyle & truly believe it is the healthiest best way for my body. I have cured a few issues I was having such as keratosis pilaris (by going gluten free) & eczema which has been amazing. However I have gained some digestive issues. I follow the raw till 4 guidelines as closely as possible & re-read them often. An example of my digestive issues are; I recently went two weeks fully raw which was great, I felt my digestive system was 100% better raw than with cooked food as raw till 4 is still leaving me bloated after every smoothie (& it never subsides) & perhaps holding water weight? one day while raw, I didn't have much ripe fruit available, so I made 3 dateorades (20 dates each) for breakfast lunch & dinner all with 2 litres of water & I had an extra 3 litres of water by itself. By the end of my lunch time smoothie I started to get bad gas and bad pains, but then was unable to go to the toilet??

Another example is smoothies not always but randomly smoothie will give me pains in the stomach, I am very aware of food combining so this is not the issue. A combination that quite often gets me is banana and mangoes. I exercise between 3-5 days per week either riding (1 hr), walking/running, yoga etc. I'm confident in this way of eating, but when I'm having digestive issues all the time it's dampening my spirit. I have come from a vegetarian background of 7 years however was a big nut/oil/beans eater. So the only thing I can come up with is that my digestive system is so badly damaged its having a tough time processing all the foods. In my vegetarian days I consumed a lot of nut fat (some times 250g bags at one time a few times per week) and yet I was stick thin. I have gained weight since going raw till 4 which I'm fine with but its the bloating that I'm not fine with.

Since also starting raw till 4 the whole tops of my thighs have turned to cellulite (I'm still a healthy weight (52kg) ??? So I'm wondering if this is another sign of how much fat is in my body??

Although I feel best fully raw & feel perhaps I could fix some of these digestive issues, unfortunately I'm about to start travelling Australia & feel cost/ source wise raw till 4 is going to be a lot easier, so feel I cannot commit to fully raw.

Any thoughts/comments/suggestions would be seriously appreciated.

Further answers I thought might help. I eat 1-2 avocados per week (I'm still breastfeeding) 1 x can coconut milk per week. Rarely 1 per month eat out. Always drink through a straw. Most meals are mono or only two fruits + greens.

Dates cause digestive issues for many.  You may need to eat just mono meals and very easy to digest fruits and juice your greens.  For cooked you may need to stick with what digests easiest for you, potatoes and gluten free oatmeal and squash and maybe white rice are the easiest ones to try as mono meals.  In a couple of years your gut should heal up so you can add more foods.

I experience the same issues as you with cooked food. I'm sticking to raw. If you must go cooked, its best to stick to baked yams (the orange ones), they are not nightshades and as close to fruit as a veggie gets in my opinion with high sugar, high vit A.
