Wanted to do an eco-friendly thing...needed some new cleaning rags (for my kitchen and bathroom), so I went for the recycled terry towels at the hardware store. I noticed that some of the towels had grease stains on them.
For anyone familiar with recycled terry towels---what were the towels formally used for? I am wondering if these towels probably contain loads of chemicals from toxic cleaning products via from their former owners....please send your thoughts :-)
Any *cleaner* alternatives to earth-friendly cleaning rags?
