So I love the idea of raw, but there are a lot of cooked foods that I'm not ready to give up.
One of the things I love is simple bean and rice on corn tortilla taco.
So, I started topping my tacos with raw ingredients like pico de gallo, etc.
These made me think more about condiments in general.
I don't know much about cooking, but it seems like most of the process is about sauteing onions, garlic, ginger (which I miss) to mix into the main ingredients.
Has anyone else thought about cooking a 'dressing' to use on raw ingredients?
It seems like this could give you some of the taste of cooked food with far less detriment.
Making raw marinara and raw dressings is on my short list. Just finishing up what I've already purchased.
I am the same Bill, I want to be fully raw, but love cooking and eating!! so raw til 4 is perfect for now, but I try and go fully raw at least once a month for as long as I can handle.. I just done a 5day stretch before I wanted to chew off my fingers!! I'm just not ready, but little by little is better than not at all.. I thinks!
