30 Bananas a Day!

can anyone help give some tips and advice?

im still a beginner at the raw till 4 life style; on days that im free its pretty easy and quite fun

but during the week i have a very busy work schedule and find it hard to stay carbed up. i feel uncomfortable bringing so much fruit to work, and  i dont know if thats even possible. What can i do?? how do you transport raw food around with a busy life?

haha, great, good on you. I know right, when I go to my friends they keep saying 'I must eat more fruit'... they realise how good it is, but I know when I leave them, they go back to their ways. Like you said, they seem to inhale the goodness.

Yeh right, like you gonna take advice from someone who basically killed themselves, was it not for 'medicine'.

people are lazy. is there another reason?

Hi Tori, I agree with some of the comments here. Don't be shy about bringing a bag of fruit to work. It will indeed lead to some fun conversations! You will find that you lead by example over time. I usually work out of a coffee shop and bring a dozen or so bananas to work to munch during the morning. People laugh and call me a monkey, but  they ask questions and interestingly over time other regular customers are bringing in bananas to go with their coffee instead of bagels and pastries. Just last week, I looked across the coffee shop one day and six people had bananas going at the same time. Very cool. Always have extras to give out. Enjoy your journey!

Yes, just bring your fruit! I mean really, you are eating fruit and they are eating dead animals. Who should be embarrassed? Like others have said, just own it and inspire others :)

You could try bringing the fruit in a pretty bowl or basket and putting it on your desk instead of bringing it in a bag. Who doesn't like to look at a BIG bowl of fruit?
Do what I do. I have a blender at home and a blender for being on the go. I bring all my fruit that I plan to eat for the day while I am out and make a giant smoothie. Before I leave in the morning, I drink a full blender full, which is about 12 medium bananas, depending on the fruit. I do that after my morning workout, and by the time I get to work, I'm carbed up and ready to mingle! :) Be yourself. It is boring tryng to be like everyone else !

Hi Tori,

The hardest thing about  this lifestyle is finding options for yourself while at work or traveling.

Preparation is the key. Annoying, but true. If you want to succeed you must plan ahead. If you don't want to carry large amounts of fruit to work, maybe pick some smaller more dense options. Grapes, apples and dried fruits travel well. I always have my small soft sided cooler with me. (lunchbox size) I throw all kinds of fruit and snacks in there just in case I need them. Fresh juice is also a great option. Find a bottled juice you like or juice it up yourself and bring it with you for a snack. It packs a nice calorie punch.  If you have a smoothie place near work, thats a great way to get a large amount of fruits in you at once. Not sure if this helps, but hope it does.
