30 Bananas a Day!

I know that wine is discouraged, but I do like to enjoy a small glass one or two times a week. Does anyone else here drink wine occasionally? and if so, how has it affected your results?

My second question is in regards to eating nuts. Is it better to have a small serving everyday or would I be better off having like 1 cheat meal a week?

Yea for health reasons, we discourage alcohol consumption.  The bad usually outweighs the good long term, so we cannot condone that.

We like to keep fat content at about 10% of calories on average.  For long term health and success I recommend about 1-3 oz of nuts or seeds a day in part because of their high vitamin and mineral count, and they are high in amino acids tryptophan and phenylalanine which promote healthy brain chemicals, and they come packaged with fat soluble nutrients like E and K.

Did you know that one brazil nut contains about the RDA of selenium?

I recommend rotating foods including nuts and seeds to ensure optimum nutritional benefits (and not to overeat on nutrients like selenium:-)

Peace, PK

edit here... You can also find many types of raw nuts and seeds on www.amazon.com

Drinking is up to you.  But if you're looking for optimal health, you'll find that alcohol does not support that goal.
