30 Bananas a Day!

Hi guys,

I have been on the diet since the 1st of April, I'm very new to this concept but am having a good time with it. I will receive the 80-10-10 book on Friday I think (been in the mail for too long already).

My question is about how to put together a daily source of food.
When I eat as I believe I should, my diet tends to look more like a 90-5-5 diet. I can adjust fat easily with some nuts but am not finding that I can adjust protein as easily.

I am an active runner and P90x follower (P90x about twice a week).

Question is, should I care? Or should I just relax and expect natural foods to do what they do?

i dont think so from what i have learnt and if you ask Harley and Freelee than 80 10 10 is the min amount and i know that Freelee does 9 55 and its fine :)
Doug Graham actually says 80-10-10 is the maximum in terms of the 10/10 split. ;P Scientists actually recommend getting between 3% and 9% of your calories from both fat and proteins, with more emphasis on the proteins if you are trying to gain more muscle mass.

I think you're doing quite well, therefore! :D
I was suspecting as much but it is nice to have confirmed.
It is tough to imagine getting this diet wrong considering what it consists of. But I have been told something else for over 30 years now making me question things that make sense :)

Ohhh, I know! :) Something I recently downloaded called the CRON-o-Meter now helps me keep track of caloric intakes. You should try it if you're worried about nutrient ratios!
