30 Bananas a Day!

So whoever created this article obviously didn't actually watch the short video they added in an attempt to support their paleo proposition.

Unfortunately for them, the vid displays the exact opposite of their carnivorous contention.

But hey, Free pub for us!

The other funny thing is that fruits ARE paleo. Which is something these people don't get apparently.

More complicated than that! Kiwis, grapefruits, bananas and a lot of other fruits are man-made creations or highly hybridized and so not considered paleo. That said, they don't even think of how is it difficult (if possible) to find meat resembling the one we could eat back to the paleolithic instead of the industrial meat full of antibiotics, pesticides, hormones, omega-6,...

But I actually saw a video of a paleo girl saying that it could be awesome to combine a paleo and a vegan diet because both are better than a SAD diet and so, being a vegan-paleo eater would be great.

That said, they don't even think of how is it difficult (if possible) to find meat resembling the one we could eat back to the paleolithic instead of the industrial meat full of antibiotics, pesticides, hormones, omega-6,...

Another excuse to eat meat.  In the book EATIING ANIMALS, the author says less than 1% of the meat produced could even be considered ethically or organically raised so it is obvious that people are not really buying those products but rather using the fact that they exist as an excuse to eat meat then they might buy it once in awhile meanwhile eating factory farmed stuff on a regular basis as per the status quo.  Native Americans and Tibetans do the same thing, maintaining that it's okay to eat meat because it's their culture and they honor and respect the animals etc. etc. meanwhile they are buying factory farmed stuff.  There is a total disconnect there.  As Thich Nhat Hanh says we have to take lots of time to look deeply at an issue before we can understand it.

But practically speaking, there is very little difference between man-made hybrids and other "paleo" fruit. So why even bother excluding them.

I can understand that grapefruits are suspicious for example, because it comes from a seed of another citrus irradiated so it mutated into grapefruit.

Moreover, I saw that the plants growing seedless fruits don't put that much energy to grow rich fruits because they know that their fruit, even if eaten, won't produce another plant.

So... there maybe something interesting here, but when it is said by guys eating industrial meat, it makes it far less credible.

Remembers me about a vegan nutritionist saying that a fruitarian diet will almost kill you and then that vegans can do awesome things like winning Ironman ... but THE Ironman winner for 7 years is a fruitarian. So??? Non-sense? Obviously :)

haha perfect windy!
