I have some organic millet that I really would rather not toss out since I can't get my hand on much organic stuff. Is there anything to do with it where you don't have to cook it? Like maybe grind it into flour consistency and then put it in a smoothie?
I would not do that. Grains are always better digestable in cooked form. Maybe you can keep it and eat it in emergency state when you don't have any ripe fruit at home and you need to be carbed up.
Hi Helena, Thanks for your reply. Do you think if I soaked them in water over night that would work? Is it the water that makes them digestible or the cooking process?
both:) but cooking probably more; you can try sprouting it but it is not optional and fruit is always better than sprouted grains, isn't it?:)...
Or you can cook a healthy meal from it for your family/friends/partner to make them pleasantly surprised!
You should try sprouting them. Like Helena said, grains are more digestible soaked and cooked.
i would cook and eat it right away. that way i could forget about it and focus on 80/10/10
