so I did about week on oranges, fell off and on to cooked vegan for 2 days because I went snow boarding and I know i did not eat enough fruit cals, caught a tummy bug the next day and am feeling better. Starting tomorrow I am going to start mono banana island, I have heard this is better than orange island, not sure why? maybe because its easier to get the cals. Is it better to just eat the banana as they are or would it be better to blend with water and drink them (better for healing/ cleansing etc.) ANY INSIGHT, EXPERIENCE, ADVICE IS ALWAYS GREATLY APPRECIATED :)
p.s. I plan to do this for at LEAST 10 days to fix digestion, skin, candida, and to just flush out the bad stuff.
I always blend my bananas and add some water to it. It's delicious and I add some water because of the vibres. Could you tell what bananas island means?

I just tried it for 4 days and personally.... don't think I could have done it all on room temerature, ripe bananas.... thow some frozen bananas in your smoothies because they make smoothies taste better.. morning and dinner would be all frozen banana smoothies... I've heard it's not the best for digestion (because its cold) but just sip a bit of hot water after and it'll help it settle better.... goodluck! =)
oh and I defintley have more energy now because of it........ almost didn't want to stop... but some mangoes were calling my name! haha
You should stick with fruit FOREVER!!! Eating whole fruit that just fell off the tree is best, but blended fruit is not bad; it can really help you get the cals instead of just chewiooiooing all day. And yes, it's much easier to get cals in with bananas. Eat as much as you can and try to consume it at room temperature, it's alright if you want it a little colder as well.
