Im going to Colorado for winter break and will be spending morning to late afternoon on the mountains snowboarding. Other than having a HUGE smoothie before I leave for the morning, what is something portable(that i can fit in my jacket and pants pockets) to eat on the mountain.
the cafes/lodges usually dont have fresh produce...just 9$ burgers ect hahaa.
should i order dates before i leave? or should i just bring raisins?
is there any lfrv fruit bars i can make?
I would go with dates, and figure out a good way to carry them. Maybe pit a whole bunch of them, compress them, put in a ziploc bag. Dates can power me all day during hiking/climbing. You may have access to a locker where you can stash some bananas for a break.

I agree with Chuck. Go with Dates. If you have access to a food processor, you can blend up some dates with strawberries and a little raw coconut, or any other fruit combination you like.
