I don't know much about olives...my mom found Gemlik olives (a type of Turkish olive) and bought some but isn't eating any of them (common for my mom to do), so I started eating them...they were suuuuuppperrr salty so I put them in water and changed it out a few times until they were less salty. Should I not eat them? I don't know if they're bad for you or not.
I'm washing it all down with some watermelon right now - not starchy, but you can never go wrong with watermelon ;)
Not the best idea.. wm should be eaten on empty stomach.

I guess you have a different definition for "wash down".. :)
I eat some every now and then.. it makes it easier for the starch to slide down.. :)
