Hi! Just wondering if anyone else practices oil-pulling as a daily oral health regimen. I just started doing this about a week before going LFRV (so, about 2 weeks ago :) , and I can't tell if it's good or bad or indifferent.
I use coconut oil (despite being mildly allergic to it), and my first time I got sick a little (vomit, but I had eaten an hour before), and my ears popped (weird!). Now I do it first thing in the morning, 10-15mins, followed by a warm water rinse and toothbrushing. Then a glass of lemon/stevia water and a giant smoothie. :)
This website is interesting and suggests the practice can have several health benefits: www.oilpulling.com
Thanks for any feedback!

i have been doing it on and off for years, i feel so great when i do it. i feel it gets all the organs rolling. an do think it pulls alot of crap from the teeth. i use sunflower or seasame oil. try sunflower.......its the right price to ;)
I will have to try sunflower oil... does it taste ok? I just used coconut because I had it on hand as a body moisturizer, and it tastes good. The first time I oil-pulled, when I spat it was very opaque white, now it's more translucent. Probably toxins? I probably need to stick with it longer!
Oil-pulling is quackery. Not supported by 30bad.
