30 Bananas a Day!

COME HERE TO FIND SOMEONE ON THE ISLAND AT ANY GIVEN TIME & JOIN THEM!

Ok so I thought it would be a good idea to just have banana blogs here. (it would be awesome and helpful for newbies to see everyone's blogs under one roof, if that makes sense? :-)
We have another thread going here which has lots of island details....Please post your questions there and put a link to your question here so we can get to it and not interrupt the flow of the blogs too much, ofcourse commenting & supporting eachother on the island is encouraged!

Destination:

This island most are going to has only bananas on it, for some it will have 2 fruits (like for myself banana and date) Some will have banana and greens also.  SO there are a few variations and that's why I'm requesting everyone record exactly what they eat because their results will vary depending on this. Please keep your island selection to a maximum of 2 fruits or 1 fruit & greens.

Itinerary:

Arrive Monday 12th April, return 28th April 
(although if trip is going very well may extend)
Others may be already on the Island, we can meet them there...

Things to do on the island: (apart from lots of relaxation)

Record a daily blog on your experience here including how many bananas/or dates you have daily, water intake, exercise, sleep, sunshine and feelings...
Then we can really help eachother if some of us are undereating or dehydrated etc.

Day #2
Food: trying out 3 meals of 8 bananas each. Some blended with mango, greens and coconut water. Dates for snacks if needed
Exercise: walking up/down hills for about 1 -1 1/2hrs, bike 30min.
Water: 3lt
Sunshine:2hrs
Sleep: 12hrs last night oh yeah! :)
Feelings: I feel stuffy and congested right now... just woke up and downing 1lt water, looking forward to getting through the day on the island!

Hey great one Stacey :) I do recommend just having bananas only or with dates to start with, you will get much more satiation from this simple combo because absorption will be enhanced with less variety to digest and assimilate.

Nice exercise, sleep and water well done

Day # : 1 (4/12/10

Food: 8:30am Banana smoothie (~9 bananas and 1/2 cup water)
1:39pm Banana celery smoothie (~9 bananas, 4 stalks celery, 1/2 cup water)
7:30pm Banana celery "soup" = smoothie in a bowl (6 bananas, 3 stalks celery, 1/2 cup water)
+another banana, 4 or 5 more stalks of unstrung celery
+ handfuls of spinach - 9:30pm, too late!!

Exercise: about 30 minutes of pilates / yoga in the morning
Bike ride to the library after work, about 30 minutes total

Water: Maybe 2.5 liters?

Sunshine: Not much, it was overcast - just the bike ride

Sleep: 7.5 hours (Sunday night)

Feelings: I felt pretty great! I was looking forward to the bike ride and library trip all day, and it was really fun. I got a bunch of cool books. =) It put me in a good mood.

I don't know how long I'll get to stay on the island, because my ripe banana supply is getting low. I really want to try to finish eating by 8pm at the latest.

Sarah what a brilliant day! If you are running low now I suggest you go out and hunt down another box asap, come on stay with us.

Yes eating earlier is far superior than late at night, I always wake up foggier if I eat late.

Haha my "hot hot husband" !! Now there's something to be grateful for!
Day 3:

Food:
Breakfast: Bananas/720 cals.

Lunch:
Bananas/582 cals.

Dinner:
658/cals
Exercise:

150 Deep knee bends
100 Push-ups
20 Min. walking Jet the Yorkie

Water 1.5 liter, maybe close to 2 liters

Sunshine: it was raining

Nice one Maya, great pushups and knee bends too! Sheesh that's a damn good effort girl.
Hmmm the edginess might be a result of toxin elimination at this early stage, it can cause sleep issues and tension in our bodies.

Not ready yet... I can't seem to get enough calories in and am having too many mixed emotions! It's crazy making. I want to continue, but don't know how. I thought 3 meals of 8 nana's would work but by the second meal I was gagging.
