30 Bananas a Day!

What is the problem with nutritional yeast? Is there any actual danger in using it?

Mostly non-American Catholics, in less educated areas, I hope.

In America, Babtists seem to ahve the most problem with LDS, especially that they consider themselves "Christians".

I wonder what else they would be, considering the official name?

wow... so true..

There is nothing wrong with presenting the second statement as an opinion of others, it still makes a strong statement, even stronger than the one you presented at first, because it is not shrouded in deception. Not only that, but you actually have no stake in whether others prescribe to the statement, and it gives you personally a lot of "wiggle room" to listen and learn from other opinions.
It puts you on "safe ground" to observe rather than (probably erroneously) judged that you have a peculiar attachment to a particular statement. (Which I'm pretty sure that you never did).

the same is said about sea greens , protists not vegan either in fact they are carnivores themselves and their cell more closely resembles animal than plant as well..

"but fungus was sent here from outer space to mate with us" as that huckster guru wu wu pants dude might have you believe but it actually prevents nutrient uptake and is low calorie.

mushrooms are the bees knees.  why would one avoid such a giving life form?

Really? I've honestly never heard of any vegan avoiding fungi. I've met some pretty militant ethical vegans too. Though, I'm sure there are some who do avoid fungi. I don't doubt you. I just don't think that many vegans do it. Besides on this site, but that's because fungi aren't really part of 80/10/10.
One reason to avoid mushroms, yeast, fermented foods, etc. is the risk of Candida Albicans.
yeah, I pretty much consider myself a millitant ethical vegan and I hold that if something is edible  isn't sentient than it is fair game as far as being food (from an ethical perspective not health one.) Last time I checked fungus and yeast while alive are not sentient what so ever.
Ha ha, well there you have it! :)
Wheat grass in a can has more than likely been pasturized
Yeast in a can may have been also, even if it had not needed to be...
Thanks to everyone for their replies. You all gave me something to think about.
