30 Bananas a Day!

I have been doing rawtil4 since around March and have been vegan since New Year's day. I was vegetarian before that and was heavy on the dairy. 

Any way, I started the journey to try and fix my digestive issues. Chronic constipation for as long as I can remember. I swear, I must have been born with it (26 now). 

The lifestyle definitely fixed it for me. I am not going very regularly and that feels amazing. (I  will admit, I haven't been 100% all the time. In moments of no fruit, I have gone to the oils/salt.)

However, when I am 100%, I do not feel carbed up. I actually feel as though I have LESS energy than when I was doing 'regular' vegan. I'm definitely getting enough calories as I am keeping track and smashing it in until I am full. My food belly never goes away. Even when I awake in the morning, I have a bloated belly. I've gained weight which I'm sure is just from this round belly as everything else still looks thin. I literally look 3 months pregnant all the time. And I just don't have that carbed up feeling everyone raves about. I am even working out less than I was before which wasn't even that much to begin with. Like 2-4 times a week down to 0-2 per week. What could I be doing wrong? Is my body just healing? I feel as though I am using the restroom more but at the same time, my digestion is still struggling just as much if not more.

Any advice?

Better bowel movements are key. You should shit about half your bodyweight every day. ;)

Stick with what works, leave what doesn't for future experimentation. Now you should be focusing on only eating the foods that digest the BEST for you. It might get boring. 

I spent months eating over 3000 calories of sweet potato PER DAY. Plus other goodies.

Focus on fruits and sweet foods. Other stuff is not good for healing constipation or irritable bowels, in my experience. Now I can eat a lot more different stuff, as long as I have my basics covered every day. I still eat a 1300-calorie pot of sweet potatoes just about every day, or more.

8-12 hours of sleep, 3+ liters of water per day, 600g+ carbohydrates per day, 30 mins of midday sunshine per day, 30-70 minutes of low intensity exercise per day, 3-10 servings of greens per day.
Are you getting those?

I'm getting all of those except for the exercise every day and greens. I don't crave greens at all. It is weird. I used to want to eat them before but switching the lifestyle, if I'm eating something raw, I only crave fruits. I'll try to add more in though.

Excessive gives you energy. Everyone has time for 30 mins a day. If you don't, then you don't care enough. I don't want to sound harsh but that is just how it is.

Another option is to go fully raw eating fruits, lettuce greens, and nuts and seeds.

I find greens to be very boring so i've stopped making salad recipes. I just take my lettuce head rinse it and eat it like a burrito. Get it over with :) its easier and faster to gobble up. Its almost like a pill for me.

That's actually a great idea! I don't even end up eating that much when it is in a salad among a bunch of other things and the heads end up going bad in my fridge. This could work. Thanks for the tip!
