30 Bananas a Day!

I was just planning on traveling for two weeks to Souther Florida during the winter, but I have decided that I am planning on spending the whole winter in Souther Florida.

I would have liked to WWOOF down there, but it turns out that you have to be 18 to sign up for WWOOF. I am 16, so this is a problem.

I will be going to Southern Florida no matter what, but I would feel a lot more secure if I knew I had somewhere to stay.

Is there anyone that would let me live with them for work exchange? Does anyone know of any farms that would host me even though I am 16?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
Livia

Lie through your teeth, Chicko! Get a fake ID! I can't believe I said that. It was a joke of course. You can do it buddy... I know a few organic farms down in Homestead, but yeah you need to come up with a plan on the age thing.
You are talking "Jail Bait," Lizzmeister.
i think robert barnum from possum trot nursery might host you.. he's not in the wwoof directory, but has expressed interest to me of having me (or presumably another) volunteer to help him.. he has a large farm with a great variety of fruits, and he's a really nice, tho matter-of-fact kinda guy.. i think you' can find his information on google if you search
Ok. Thanks! I will definitely look that up.
Also Livia. There is a small farm in Miami where you can probably work and possibly live. A very cool place. Let us know when you are coming.
But Livia. Don't you go to school or something, at 16?
Ok, awesome. I am planning on coming in the beginning of December.

I do not go to school. I stopped going to school after I finished 8th grade, so that I could learn more.
Livia, we invite 30 Bad'ers to stay with us if they are coming down to the Miami area. We have a number of people staying with us this winter so let us know dates so we can confirm that we will in fact have room if you're interested.

You are too fragile to work on a farm
Why do you think I am too fragile to work on a farm?
You are so precious.
