I love garlic! How do I give it up?

Garlic Chives, Onion Chives, Green onion are extremely tasty substitutes that are so mild I can mono on the green part, but I wouldn't because I just use them for flavoring salads and sauces (Don't eat the white part)

 

:) You won't miss garlic or onion bulbs at all if you use those.

I gave garlic up gradually. Instead of a whole clove in my salad dressing, guacamole or hommous, I'd only put 3/4 of a clove, then 1/2, then, 1/4, then a smidge...and by then I realised I didn't like the smelly after effects and so found it easy to give it up completely. In that time I also developed a repertoire of 811 salad dressings and dips that I liked to replace my garlicy one's.

Would you share your dressing and dips recipes, at least a couple? That would be awesome!

Thanks a lot Chris. I guess I have an addiction to spicy. It would take reading something so logical to want to give it up and, sure enough, I can't justify now eating these spices and condiments anumore. It makes me sad :(, but it is for the better. :)

 

I still would like to know what is wrong with nori and sauerkraut :)

I'm allergic to garlic so it was kinda easy for me ;)

I wouldnt call em flat tummy or clearest mind foods thats for sure but I do have em on rare occasions.

 

 

Have herbs instead for a bit maybe?

I stopped eating garlic, better to be save then sorry. However I did not find any scientific theory or clinical studies that its negative for human health....

There are a lot of "papers" claiming garlic and onions to have benefits. But this is all a bit subjective since the same can be done for hot peppers...

sorry but i love them too! especialy onions! mind sharing with me why i cant consume them?
